Support for Sudanese Children and Youth Displaced in Egypt

Support for Sudanese Children and Youth Displaced in Egypt

May is known as the month of mental health awareness, as well as the month when we celebrate “Day of Africa”.

This year, we can’t help but see the heartbreaking events unfolding in Sudan. The ongoing conflict and displacement are taking an immense toll on the mental health and well-being of Sudanese youth and children. This May, we decided to prepare a Care Kit, simple tools to keep them going, to help maintain their psychological stability. From basic personal care items to toys and creative tools for expression, the kits will not only bring joy but most importantly comfort to children who are facing a life traumatic experiences.

It’s important to note that the need for these Care Kits is especially high given the number of Sudanese families seeking refuge in Egypt, where resources are already stretched thin. We worked closely with children psychologists to ensure that each item in the kit was selected with their well-being in mind. So every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in providing comfort and support to the youth and children during this difficult time.

We need your help. You can contribute with donations or in-kind donations with the products needed. As humans, as one community, it’s time to #KeepAnEyeOnSudan So let’s come together and show our support for Sudanese community.
